Phil Strickland

Phil Strickland, leader of the BGCT’s
Christian Ethics and Public Life area will be
our guest speaker at the 2005 Texas Baptists
Committed breakfast at the annual meeting of
the BGCT. Phil has faithfully led the BGCT’s
Christian Life Commission to serve as a prophetic
voice to Texas Baptists for many years.
He has raised awareness of the Christian’s role
in addressing concerns including poverty, racial
issues, religious liberty, and family life.
Phil also founded Texans Care for Children, a
nonprofit organization that speaks as a voice on
behalf of Texas children to improve their overall
well-being.
