New TBC Focus and Leaders for 2003

Texas Baptists Committed will focus its energy in 2003 on promoting missions and religious liberty. This will include promoting the Baptist General Convention of Texas’ new world missions network.

Effective January 2003, Clyde Glazener took on the role of chair of Texas Baptists Committed, with Jaclanel McFarland assuming the responsibility of vice chair. Glazener, who replaces outgoing chair, Bill Brian, is the pastor of Gambrell Street Baptist Church in Fort Worth and past president of the BGCT.

Incoming vice chair, Jaclanel McFarland, is a Houston attorney, a former BGCT vice president and current Baylor University regent. TBC would like to extend our thanks to outgoing chair, Bill Brian and vice chair, Rudy Camacho, for their service in 2002. Glazener McFarland
