TBC ANNUAL CONVOCATON ON AUGUST 1-2

The fourth annual Texas Baptists Committed convocation will be held at the downtown Sheraton, Austin, on August 1-2. The program is titled: TEXAS 2000: BEING SPIRITUALLY PREPARED.

The featured topics include: An Overview of Spiritual Formation, Spiritual Formation in Families, The Role of Faith in Spiritual Formation, The Role of Worship in Spiritual Formation, The History of Spiritual Formation and Spiritual Formation as Preparation for Service.

Confirmed speakers include Jeanie Miley, author and conference leader, Houston; George Mason, pastor of Wilshire Baptist Church, Dallas; Bill Turner, pastor of South Main Baptist Church, Houston; Ken Massey, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, Waco; Doug Tipps, pastor of First Baptist Church, San Marcos; Howard Batson, pastor of First Baptist Church, Amarillo; and Bob Ellis, professor at Logsdon School of Theology, Abilene.
