Myron Madden and Doug Ezell to lead Minister’s Seminars

For the third year, Texas Baptists Committed will sponsor two special seminars on Caring for the Care Giver: For Ministers Who Do Not Walk on Water. Once again, Myron Madden and Doug Ezell will lead the seminars.

Myron Maddon is well known to most ministers. He is the author of The Power to Bless, and several other books. He is former Chaplin and Director of the Department of Pastoral Care at the New Orleans Baptist Hospital.

Doug is very familiar to most Texas Baptist pastors having taught New Testament and Ethics at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth for many years before starting a counseling ministry. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of The Methodist Home for Children in New Orleans.

The first seminar will be held at Wilshire Baptist Church in Dallas on Wednesday, May 29, from 10:00 a.m. till 4:00 p.m. Lunch will be served and is covered in the $20 registration fee. Wilshire Baptist Church is located at 4316 Abrams Road in Dallas. We will meet downstairs in the Youth Center.

The seminar will be repeated Thursday, May 30, at the Ramada Downtown Hotel in Fort Worth on the second floor. The same registration fee and schedule will be followed.
