Noah Rodriguez: nominee for second vice president


Noah Rodriguez, a layman from Primera Mexican Baptist Church, San Antonio, will be nominated for second vice president at the annual convention by long-time friend Mauriece Johnston.

“I have worked with Noah Rodriguez in the San Antonio association for at least 30 years,” Johnston said, “and I know him to be a person of integrity with a deep commitment to Texas Baptists.

“As we aggressively start to live out the vision of Texas 2000, it is important that we focus on Hispanics and have Hispanic Texas Baptists in positions of BGCT leadership. We could have no better leader than Noah.”

Rodriguez is a retired public school administer from the Harlandale school district. He is currently serving as
Chaplin/Counselor for Market Place Ministries, Inc.

He has served as Chairman of Deacons in his church, Primeria Mexican Baptist Church, San Antonio. He has also
